Briargreen Halloween 2021!
As you may know, Ottawa Public Health has declared that Trick or Treating can come back this year which is great news for our Halloween loving neighbourhood. At the same time, this year we are lucky enough to once again have Halloween on a weekend, and, given the success of last year’s neighbourhood costume walk we wanted to keep the new tradition going.
So we’re doing both!

Movie Night in the Park 2021 - Croods 2!
Movie Night in the Park is coming up this weekend on Friday, September 17, or as a rain-date, Saturday, September 18th. We'll send out a reminder the day before.
The itinerary:
7:45pm Big Screen Video Games and Kids Cartoons
8:15pm Feature Film: The Croods 2, A New Age
Remember to bring your own drinks, snacks, and blankets!
The City of Ottawa outdoor gathering limit is 100 people. Social distancing is required, and each family/group will be responsible for ensuring their own compliance.
Please note: There is no porta-potty at the park.

Facebook Roundup May 2021
Welcome to the first ever Briargreen Facebook Group Round-up.
There are so many great reasons to connect in our neighbourhood and the Facebook page is a busy place! Since not everyone has access to the Facebook group, we at the Briargreen Community Association wanted to bring a taste of it to you to tempt you to join.
This newsletter will come out once a month and we will also send out blasts when key issues come up. We’d also strongly encourage you to join the group yourself and add your voice to the conversation. It’s a private Facebook group, meaning viewing is strictly limited to active members.
While our group might not end up with a connection across the ocean like this Tale of Two Wakefields we look forward to seeing you online!
