Community Day!

Briargreen Community Day Saturday June 8th - 11AM until 2:30PM Saturday June 8th is our annual Briargreen Community Day.  It's a great opportunity to come out and mingle with your neighbours, so come and join us at the park. Bring a lawn chair to the event if you want to sit and chat. This year we have so many great activities, there will be something for all ages. From scavenger hunts, a nine hole mini-putt course, to an eight piece jazz band and pony rides - we know you will have fun! Community day requests: Accepting any late Briargreen membership dues & forms at the membership table  We always require volunteers to help make this event a success. Schedule of events 11:10  Decorate your bicycles and ride as a group around a few streets in Briargreen 11:30 - 2:30  Bouncy Castle and Mini Putt! 11:30 - 1:30  For Purchase BBQ Hamburgers (including Veggie Burgers) - $3.00 Hotdogs - $2.00 Chips - $1.00 Drinks (pop, juice & water) - $1.00 12:00 - 1:00  Listen to an Eight Piece Jazz Band from Sir Robert Borden 12:15 - 2:15  Pony rides are back once again - great photo opportunity for mom and dad; great fun for the children 1:00 - 2:00  Mighty Molecules - A STEM presentation with Briargreen's very own Mackenzie Huckvale   Other events... Scavenger hunts with prizes will run throughout, one for the little kids and one for the older kids and kids at heart. Face Painting will be available throughout the event. Drop off your books and your plants for exchange at our book and plant exchange table.
